Surgery, Winter Storm, and the Holidays....

Well I am finally able to use my computer somewhat comfortably after carpal tunnel surgery. Surgery went well but it was frustrating recovering due to I was not able to do much of what I do around the house. My hubby and kiddos stepped in big time to help me but it is still not like when you do it yourself the way you like it to be done. I also will be returning to my job starting next week, I am excited about that. I really like the company I work for and my co-workers. I will miss being around my family though. I am excited that Christmas is only about a week away. This is my fave Holiday of the year....cozied up in the house with the beautiful twinkling lights, candles, and family time. Only thing that kinda sucks is my my mom like most Christmases is clear across the ocean, thank GOD for Skype. My father and stepmother will be in town which is soooooo great. Yummy food and get togethers, also the hubby and I will be celebrating 9 years of marriage on New Years Eve. We had a huge winter storm hit Minnesota this past weekend, so we pretty much hunkered down inside all weekend. We did some crafting, baked and made some yummy meals and just spent time together without any outside interruptions. I almost forgot, our lil guy is finally potty trained....I thought this day was never going to come. During the storm we just said undies only and he had no accidents.
