So Mother's Day was great here, received a wonderful homemade card from my daughter that she had made at Daycare. Her and her father also gave me flowers and another card on the actual day. We went to a wonderful buffet with the rest of my immediate family and the weather was just perfect. A's daycare threw a party for us to meet all the other parents and to bond with the teachers, it was a cultural party so we all brought foods from our heritage, the kids loved it and so did all the parents. Memorial Day this week was great, weather was perfect....better than it has been in years. We watched a parade that my father was in and then we all headed to my brother's house for a BBQ. Our Memorial weekend was jam packed with Saturday having 2 b-days for 2 diff kids who were turning 4 to attend. Spending Sunday with my husband's mother, we took her shopping(it was Mother's Day for her) they are from the Dominican Republic where it is celebrated on the last Sunday of May....that goes for Sweden also where my mother lives. PG update....I am now 32wks pregnant, carpel tunnel is still here and has become an issue with me being at work, was diagnosed with gestational diabetes this time around, and I am measuring about 3 wks ahead. This pg is definitely going to be one to remember but I still feel that I am so blessed because there are mothers that are pg and going thru much more than I have to bear. My wonderful co-workers surprised me with a Baby Shower, we received lots of wonderful things for our new little girl. Summer is really here now, the weather is getting really warm and we have not had too much rain here in Minnesota, at least where I live. All my plants are coming up nicely in the yard and we are outside all the time now. Well I guess I have blabbed long enough, so here are some more pics more from the last month.
